MOKENA BASEBALL SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION

Welcome Mokena Families and Friends!

MBSA was founded in 1994 as a program to help our youth learn and understand the game of baseball and softball and to develop mental, social and physical skills that go along with the sport. And provide the building blocks of being an athlete-teamwork, sportsmanship, participation, dedication, mental toughness etc. We strive to provide a great baseball and softball experience to our Mokena children and their families and serve about 700 children and 2,000 families in Mokena and the surrounding communities. We are governed by a Board and have great volunteer Board Members and Coaches to help run this organization and make it such a success. We believe that youth participation in team sports is a vital component in the optimal development of all children and a foundational element in building a stronger community. We are always looking for additional volunteers, coaches, partners and other resources that will expand our impact on our youth and community.

At this time, in both our Spring and Fall programs, we partner with other local communities to collaborate with like-minded organizations to create greater opportunities for area youth and help maximize their potential both on and off the field.
