MBSA Charitable Policy
Not-For Profit Organizations
The MBSA budgets for being able to provide not-for-profit organizations and charitable organizations donations for fundraisers. Please submit all requests to the treasurer at [email protected] with your request. The executive board will evaluate your request and provide feedback in a timely manner.
MBSA College Scholarships
Every year, the MBSA provides a $500 college scholarship to one boy and one girl. Applications are located on MBSA’s website and are due by April 1st of every year. A scholarship committee is set up to review each application and are presented at each high school’s scholarship night.
MBSA Hardship Scholarship
The MBSA decided that no child should not play baseball or softball due to the financial hardship of the family. If at registration a family is unable to make payment, please contact the treasurer at [email protected] with your request. The treasurer will consult with the Executive Board of MBSA and work with the family on the situation. Either payment plans can be set up or full scholarships will be offered to the family.
